What The Folly! discussed the idea of a folly for every individual in the class and designing follies with certain limitations. Several activities in the class improved skills of detailing, software, designing with limitations, and fulfilling conditions required in a design.
The first day, freedom of theme, colour scheme, and media was given to fill the line drawing.
The second day, a set of shapes were given, and a prompt assigned set the individual limitations for each student. Three sets of designs were formed by everyone consisting of the same shapes, without changing the scale or angle.
Various views were taken from one design out of the three rendered them further.
The render was done with the limitations from another prompt on the third day. This prompt allowed to set the colour scheme and gave a direction for the render.
The last day had a different activity where a facade had to be designed in the form of an elevation that goes through 5 different points randomly plotted on a grid sheet.
